Gretchen Wilson Going On Tour
Gretchen Wilson is hitting the road. She's promoting her upcoming release, "I Got Your Country Right Here," with a series of club dates to give her fans a chance to preview her new CD live before they buy it. The singer notes she's looking forward to the trek, noting that she got her start in bars and smaller clubs. She adds, quote, "There's nothing like the immediate feedback you get from the fans when they're just a few feet away." The 18-date trek begins Wednesday in Jacksonville, Florida. "I Got Your Country Right Here," featuring Wilson's latest single, "Work Hard, Play Harder," is due in stores March 30th. It's her first studio effort in three years, following 2007's "One of the Boys," and her first project to be released on her own Redneck Records.
