Neil Diamond, Boston Pops Team Up To Celebrate Fourth Of July
Neil Diamond is celebrating this year's Fourth of July in Boston. The music icon will take the stage and perform on CBS' "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular" Independence Day special. Diamond is slated to sing some of his classic chart-toppers alongside The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart. An estimated 500-thousand people are expected to pack Boston's Charles River Esplanade to hear Diamond perform and watch the fireworks display at the end of the night. CBS' "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson will emcee the event, now in its 36th year. "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular" will air live from Boston on Saturday at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. |
