Experience true country charm at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield this holiday season as you wind through a twinkling forest path decorated with more than 1 million colorful lights!
With the Colorado foothills as a backdrop, the spectacular Trail of Lights display will be draped in elegant designs along the countryside, illuminating the plants, trees and hardscape features. Nearly half of all the lights used are sparkling, energy-saving, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), reflecting the Gardens’ commitment to conservation and sustainability.
The Gardens at Chatfield will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Not only will our popular children’s play area and tree house be blanketed in bright lights, but the lights will also change to holiday music playing in the background.
Additionally, there will be an ode to antiques with an antique tractor and Model -T display, as well as the restored 1880s Hildebrand Ranch homestead decorated in a charming Colorado country Christmas motif.
Guests will also be able to pick-up a pair of the popular HoloSpex glasses which magically transform the lights into shimmering 3-D shapes. A warming hut will be open where kids can do holiday arts and crafts.
Ample parking is available at no cost. Warm drinks and tasty snacks are available each evening. Entertainment will be available on select evenings. Please check our website (www.botanicgardens.org) for the schedule.
