What to Eat

What to EatWhen it comes to staying healthy, eating correctly is key. While it is admittedly easier to list out what not to eat, mostly because bad foods are very easy to recognize, there are still foods so solid that they can be listed as foods that are good to eat.

The most generic list of what to eat would read like: meat, vegetables, fruit, cereal and grains, and some dairy products. But this is where it gets a little more difficult. Because people are so radically different from each other, what is good for one person to eat may not be good for someone else to eat.

So here is how you fine tune the list to customize it for yourself; and it all starts with a two day fast. Yes as inconvenient as it is start by fasting for two days drinking only water. On day three, introduce one food from the list as your first meal. After you eat, let the meal sit for many hours as you focus and concentrate on how your body is reacting to that food. There may be a variety of reactions. You may find that you have an emotional reaction to the food, as example you may notice that you start to feel anxious, or nervous or even angry. You may find that you have a physical reaction to the food, as example you may feel tired, slow, or energized or strong.

The trick is to study how you react to the food after you eat it to determine whether it is the right food for you to be eating.

Repeat this method one food product at a time. Don’t combine foods but eat one new food product at a time so that you can be sure of how you react to that food.

After a few weeks you will have a very complete list of foods that are good for you to eat. Yes this is hard to do and in the beginning it is very inconvenient and it means a few weeks of some boring meals, but when you have finished, you will know definitively what the right foods for you to eat are. In addition, you will be able to recognize whether new foods are good or bad for you to eat almost instantaneously.

I have become so sensitive to foods that I can tell just by smelling a food whether or not it is something that is good for me to eat. Now it has taken me several years to get to that point but I got there.

If you are concerned about what foods you should and shouldn’t eat, give this method a try. It doesn’t cost anything and you have everything to gain. And honestly, what you learn about the foods you eat will shock you. Doing this will change your life.
